Struggling with your mental health is extremely common and can have a significant effect on your wellbeing. In fact, 615 million people suffer from anxiety and depression, with 1 in 4 people in the UK diagnosed with a mental health problem. Counselling allows you to express your thoughts, feelings, fears and anxieties and explore where these issues stem from, why they are there and what we can do to resolve any negativity and - most importantly - move forward.
I am a professionally qualified mental health counsellor (prof.dip.CST.cert.hyp.cs) based in Worthing. Working from a private room at The Wellbeing Centre in Tarring I hold confidential, non-judgemental counselling sessions for adults in Worthing, West Sussex.
We all experience challenges in our lives and often it can be hard to process how we are feeling.
Sometimes we experience one challenge after another in quick succession and it’s just too much to deal with.
For others, there are unresolved issues from our childhood which we simply cannot get past, or struggles with relationships; perhaps with family, friends, work colleagues or partners.
When we feel upset, anxious and worried it can be hard to think or evaluate calmly and clearly.
This is where a safe, calm space with a non-judgmental, caring and confidential person can be welcome.
